@lowlifebearsfan Twice as many fetuses are discarded from IVF than from abortion. Hows about you go peddle your bullshit to the folks who willingly & intentionally created and destroyed MULTIPLE "babies" each time, rather than the women who aborted when pregnancy wasn't their choice. Fkn dipshit.

If I consent to pregnancy when I sleep with you, you consent to abortion if you sleep with me. We're not doing that one-sided horseshit anymore. Thanks.

This is the height of corruption for this govt, now they want fascist control of the media. Absolutely not. We can not give these out of control idiots another 3 years. We need to give them the boot, then entrench our constitutional law, so they cant attempt to vandalise NZ again. No selling state assets without a 75 percent majority in the house. Absolutely enshrined public media independence. Rules for who can own a majority share in any commercial media, and rules around neutrality and factual accuracy.

David Seymour threatens to fire RNZ boss for hiring John Campbell. It's illegal for a Shareholding Minister to interfere in state broadcasters' independence Kiri Allan was hauled through the coals for a mere suggestion with Seymour saying at the time democracy was at risk

If men are so worried about preventing abortion Why don't they just abstain from sex until their wives give them permission to impregnate them? Just stop having sex for fun. Problem solved.

For years, parents have looked at their kids’ NCEA results and had no idea what they actually meant. Achieved, Merit, Excellence. Credits here, credits there. A system so muddled that even teachers struggled to explain it and employers stopped trusting it. That is ending under National. Today we confirmed the details of the new qualification replacing NCEA. Clear A+ to E grades in every subject, five subjects a year, proper exams, and a literacy and numeracy requirement that actually has to be passed. From 2028, science will be compulsory in Year 11 alongside English and maths, because every young New Zealander deserves those foundations in the modern world. There’ll be exciting new subjects too, like Civics, Politics and Philosophy, Journalism and Media, and Advanced Mathematics. Trades subjects like Building and Construction and Outdoor Education will also sit alongside the rest with equal standing, because not every kid is heading to university and that should never have been treated as second best. This is about rewarding hard work, giving every young Kiwi a qualification they can be proud of, that employers can trust, and that sets them up for life. Labour spent six years tinkering with a broken system while standards slipped. National is fixing the basics and building the future. Our kids deserve better, and National is delivering it.

A man refuses to wear a condom: “Feels better.” A woman gets pregnant: “Should’ve been more responsible.” The logic is microscopic.

@Zarish5062 False equivalency. No man can just take off a condom without a woman's permission. If she agreed then she is 100% responsible if she gets pregnant. And the man is responsible from the start because he is the one who would be paying the child support in the end.

If condoms aren’t 100%, and birth control isn’t 100%, and abstinence doesn’t work, maybe the problem isn’t women getting pregnant. Maybe it’s men refusing accountability.

Green Party MP Tamatha Paul never wanted to defund police. She said functions like homelessness or drugging children with autism showed that some functions weren't best handled by cops Below is the full video but @JennaLynchNZ unfortunately really misrepresented it & Greens
Cam Slater@kaiviti_cam

Tamatha Paul wants more protection for female MPs from hate speech. This is the same person who wants to defund the Police. How does that work exactly? stuff.co.nz/politics/36097… #NZPol

Please #askchristopher if it’s ok that I’m a bit worried about @SimeonBrownMP apparently wanting to keep records of women who have had abortions? It seems disturbing and freakish to me but I’d like to check first if it’s ok to be worried? Don’t want to overstep!

@KatelynTweeter Easiest way is to make vasectomies mandatory for all men when they reach reproductive age, then reverse them with approval from their wife or partner 🙌🏼🤌🏼👌🏼

Chris Hipkins flew into Auckland today claiming he wants to “unlock Auckland”. The irony is breathtaking. This is the very man who locked Auckland down in the first place, and the Royal Commission found he did so against public health advice. Aucklanders haven’t forgotten what that meant. They remember being locked out of saying goodbye to dying family members. They remember their kids shut out of classrooms. They remember the small businesses that closed their doors for good, the elective surgeries pushed back for months, and the spike in ram raids that happened because of a soft on crime approach. Our city is still bearing those scars. Yet Hipkins had the audacity to suggest today that it’s only Newstalk ZB who ever raise the lockdowns with him. That tells Aucklanders everything they need to know. He isn’t listening, he hasn’t learned, and he seems to think a huge chunk of this city simply doesn’t count. Newstalk ZB happens to be listened to by a great many Aucklanders, and those Aucklanders are the ones he is dismissing. Hipkins owes this city an explanation, not another flying visit and another spin line.
