Then I graduated to Nancy Drew Couple years ago I reread her first book and I was like wow Nancy was one Kick-Ass young woman. No wonder we all grew up to start the '60s feminist revolt

If you’re a parent, please get books into your child’s bedroom. Lots and lots of books. Just having the option to flip through a book when they’re young will give them such an advantage when they get into the classroom. Sincerely A teacher

@nic_munoz @JoshPhillipsPhD I got all kinds of different presents at Christmas every year as I was growing up. The one present I still remember is that each Christmas I got a new Nancy Drew book. And as soon as we finished opening presents and had breakfast I would curl up in the chair and start to read

@JoshPhillipsPhD I remember when I was younger my parents would take me to the library and I would spend all afternoon there. It was the best experience ever to escape into a world of fantasy. I know this might sound geeky but I also know that I'm sure a lot of people will resonate with this lol.
