‘Write what you know’ is the old axiom. ⁦@sherylletan⁩ and I did just that in our newly published book by ⁦@SAGEManagement⁩. Seeing a need, we created Women and Leadership & we’re thrilled to say it’s now available in print and eBook formats! bit.ly/36687Uq

"High-quality research is also woefully lacking — on all women’s health issues but on menopause in particular, leaving doctors as well as patients in the dark about what’s causing some of the most debilitating symptoms and how best to treat them." #genderequity

"Despite having few speaking roles, women shined in the musical performances. The March on Washington had a powerful soundtrack of women musicians who delivered moving messages...In fact, many of the March’s most memorable performances were by women." womenshistory.si.edu/stories/2023/0…

When a man speaks assertively, people trust him: he's confident. When a woman does it, men dislike her: she's a bitch. It’s outrageous that women have to tame their tongues to protect fragile egos. Don't punish women for challenging stereotypes. Challenge the stereotypes. nytimes.com/2023/07/31/opi…

A recent study “in 2022 found that two-thirds of the graduating male respondents received paid internships compared to less than half of women, despite women representing 70% of the 2,140 seniors surveyed.” Pay transparency laws are needed. #genderequity bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Social Security taxes are rigged for the rich — and the program is in danger because of it. A CEO earning $20M/yr pays Social Security taxes on ~1% of their income. Meanwhile, a normal worker pays Social Security taxes on 100% of their income. How does that make any sense?
