It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the passing of our good friend Shaheen Nestat’s mother. I had the pleasure of meeting Mary June Neshat early last year after my book ANYTHING BUT BLAND came out. Mary June was so sweet and I spent about 45 minutes of my time talking to her about her life and about her love for and dedication to Murdaugh Murders podcast and Cup of Justice podcast. I gave her a signed copy of my book and she was thrilled. I remember like yesterday the smile on her face. I received this lovely note from Shaheen tonight along with the photo of when I was with her and where she kept my book. God, I will always cherish this.
