Great afternoon out in Longlands with @LisaJaneMoore3 and the team. Really appreciate everyone who stopped for a chat and pledged their support - it means a lot.

It’s arrived! A bench to replace the broken one in King George’s Fields. It’s not new, but it’s whole and will be welcomed by my residents who need a rest during a dog walk or a place to sit in the sunshine. (Now we just need the ☀️) Thank you @LBofBexley!

Today I & a man called Adam were stopped by a lad (yr 7) in Longlands Rd, who was distressed & lost after 3 boys intimidated him on the bus & he got off to get away. We chatted & when he was calmer, found out how we could help & got him to a bus to take him to school. 1/2

Resurfacing in Manor Road, Longlands ward starts today!

Resurfacing in Woodside Crecent in Longlands Ward coming along nicely, thanks to £6.5m invested this year to fix roads in our borough. #MakingBexleyEvenBetter

Heard about a serious fire in Heron Crescent, Longlands ward - hope everyone okay. Thanks to firefighters, police and ambulance crews who are working to keep everyone safe. Several road closures in place. If you’re nearby please keep your windows and doors shut.

Several posters illegally put up on lamposts around Longlands ward. I’ve reported those spotted during my run this morning, but please use FixMyStreet to report any near you so they can be taken down and we can fine those responsible.

So disappointed to see the litter around this bench in King George’s playing fields off Longlands Road. The bins aren’t a far walk. Please use them! Already reported this via FixMyStreet.

I’ve reported the full dog waste bins in Longlands rec - one of the good things about living in the ward I represent is I’m always out and about and can deal with issues as I see them. If you spot something that you need the council to address, use FixMyStreet to report it.

Both @LisaJaneMoore3 and I have been out and about in Longlands not just today but everyday picking up on the issues that matter most to people and taking action.

📍 Partridge Road Pleased to see the abandoned vehicle parked near the junction of Heron Crescent had been removed. Although, somewhat frustrating to see a bag of rubble and industrial waste now dumped nearby which has now been reported.

An update on another (larger) fly-tipping issue: pleased to say everything has now been cleared from the closed St Mary’s Nursing home premises on Main Road, Sidcup. Thank you to @LBofBexley for working with me to get it done.

Reported the dumped mattress and cushions outside Longlands Rec to the council via FixMyStreet.

Absolutely appalled and upset to hear that one of our newish trees in Longlands Rec has been destroyed by thoughtless vandals.We have such beautiful green spaces around us that bring so much enjoyment. Why do this? @bexleynews @louie_french @LBofBexley @LonglandsOscar

@tuppenceforthem We loved it! And then went on to look at the exhibition at the Storyteller. Fascinating to see the pic of the bomb damage at Longlands School!

@LisaJaneMoore3 The pathway leading from York Avenue towards the park entrance and railway bridge needs major work. It is very bumpy and uneven caused by many tree roots. It’s dangerous and uncomfortable to walk along.

Great news about this work to repair a defective underground pipe in King George’s fields -so pleased I could help Longlands Road residents who contacted me about the ongoing battle with surface water flooding into their homes when it rains hard. #WorkingHardForLonglands
