Work starts soon to replace the Bankside building on the left with the right. Left isn't perfect. But its mock-warehouse aesthetic is far more suited to the river than the lobotomised crate planned. The historic Anchor pub sits helplessly to the far left. London self-harms again.

This building was previously occupied by Brick By Brick - Labour’s property developer that bankrupted Croydon and cost local people tens of millions of pounds.
Great to see a place which caused so much suffering and damage now being used for good 💙

Great to be on George Street to help cut the ribbon for Caribuena Café, launched by Animah Black after 10 years working as a chef. Her mum, Palma Black, has already opened Soul Full wellness hub in the premises - a space centred on connection and wellbeing, with a podcast suite and conference rooms. Through that, she has created the platform and opportunity for Animah to take the next step and launch her own café. A strong example of building something positive together in Croydon. #confidenceincroydon

It details how in the period up to 13 October, 2025 Labour officials became worried a motion would be put to parliament demanding the release of Morgan McSweeney's messages to Peter Mandelson. On October 20 McSweeney reported his mobile had been stolen.

The town of Tønsberg, Norway planned a new modernist building by the main square, but a counter proposal was given and according to the local newspaper. after 5,000 votes the result was firmly—92%—for classical architecture in harmony with the existing town architecture. Obviously the architects and modernists are upset the people aren't buying their ugly proposal.

There’s a type of person who can’t stand seeing a well dressed man speak with confidence & flair, so they dismiss him as pompous. It’s very common (unsure why it makes them feel unsettled). So many men now shrink themselves, dull their edges & trade their presence for approval.
