@GLATOS_Fish I know that myself & many others learned a lot from his leadership, and I will always appreciate how he wanted to grow and build the telemetry community, including early career scientists. Chris made significant contributions to this project and so many others-he will be missed.

I'm excited to share that I've started a new position as an Assistant Professor in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville! I'm looking forward to building a research program focusing on fish movement and how it relates to fisheries management.

I'm hoping to be able to start recruiting students for 2024/2025, so stay tuned 🙂 In the meantime I'm looking forward to building new collaborations in Tennessee and beyond!

I am recruiting a lab manager! My lab works on applied fish conservation genetics/genomics questions to inform management. Current projects use GT-seq, high throughput msats, RAD-seq, RAD capture, lcWGS, and eDNA on walleye, whitefish, sea lamprey, northern pike, musky, and more!
