@LisaKoenigAutor Nike: She is more likely to be outside. She spends most of her vacations in Nordic temps growing up. Abdona: They prefer cold frigid temps and winter sports. Malachi: He loves going to inside museums. There are less people in the winter. They prefer spring and fall.

@LisaKoenigAutor Spent most of his adult life in various GWOT Sandboxes like Iraq and Afghanistan , old or Hot Grew up on various archeological digs like the Hebrides none of which had nice weather, Used to being cold or hot.

@LisaKoenigAutor Orenda is a ranger who normally explores the Lost Lands. But in winter, she never goes in. The Lost Lands are beyond the south polar circle and are perpetually dark in winter. Darkness and cold mean death for explorers.

@KarenEisenbrey I like the outsides but the insides have definite bonus points on cold or hot weather!

@LisaKoenigAutor Crane spends 2 winters with a community that is outdoors on all but the stormiest days. He likes being outside generally, and once he has appropriate clothing, he enjoys it. Ketty will bundle up to go out when necessary, but prefers to be cozy indoors.

@LisaKoenigAutor Prince Joaquin stays indoors in cold weather if he can. Princess Desiree is an Ochiran warrior. Cold is irrelevant. Shania’s little, disabled body really feels the cold, but if she has to go out in it Anjica will make sure she stays warm.

@LisaKoenigAutor Despite BG not feeling cold himself, he cared a lot about RD being cold and was the one who made sure he’d be warm enough, so he’s not unaware of cold weather it just doesn’t affect him. He’s also built to withstand it so 🤷‍♀️

@LisaKoenigAutor Tarja is the only one who enjoys winter sports, and Katie might occasionally go horse riding even in winter. The rest of them avoid the outdoors in winter if they can.

@stomes626 Fair enough :) Then I'd say this one does not apply to Ahab though I dearly hope he got to eat his Stollen, Marzipan etc in winter at least once. Having been in New Zealand, it's just not the same. The feeling of a full house in wintertime and treats is different

@LisaKoenigAutor What colder months? Amaria has a 10-11 degree axial tilt so winter is very mild, the average temperature ranging from 10 to 15 degrees Celsius in the Imperium. Ahab Just puts on a jacket/cloak and does his job.

@MidnightRose838 Having people depend on you is another thing altogether. Does he enjoy the time outside at times or is it always a chore?

@LisaKoenigAutor Rider doesn't have any choice but to go out into the snow to gather firewood & to hunt. He has a child (not his) to provide for. That said, if he were alone, I'm not sure he'd have reason to avoid the weather. He uses hardship as a way of enduring the conflict in his soul.
