I’m lucky to live in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Austin. But there are no kids. All my neighbors are 60+. Their kids graduated high school years ago so my four boys don’t have anyone to play with. Next house is going to be in a family neighborhood.

Rubbish. Without a salary cap, big-market teams can simply pile on the stars, whilst small-market teams can still bide their time by stockpiling prospects on low salaries; but once a hard cap is imposed, rich teams are forced to offload high-earning veterans to free up space, and small-market teams are also forced to spend right up to the floor—the result is that everyone collectively ‘sells off and rebuilds’, leading to shorter and more frequent tanking cycles. Are there not enough rubbish teams in the NBA and NFL already? A salary cap would simply turn MLB’s ‘sellers’ into outright ‘tankers’

Salary caps are bad for competitive balance of leagues, bad for fans, and of course terrible for workers

Extremely low (maximum) delta for lowest lowest lowest risk of it getting called away? Why would I not want an extra $10-$15 to put back into the market that can compound for 30 years? I am making $12.19 in this example, using my $220,000 from $QQQ & $301,600 from $SPY So yes I am using HALF A MILLION DOLLARS to make an extra $12 in this example, but my question is, why not??
