The ruby red dragonet, also called the flame scooter blenny, is an incredibly beautiful species. The vivid red and bright golden yellow pectoral fins immediately catch the eye, but when you look a little closer, the males have a large, rather spectacular dorsal fin too.

CBC is a publicly funded broadcaster. That's vital in a big country like Canada. Without it huge numbers of Canadians would have no regional news reporting or broadcaster at all. But CBC is independently operated and managed. The Prime Minister cannot call up Adriene Arsenault and tell her what to say that night. She would flatly refuse and keep her job. To equate CBC to Russian State television or North Korean TV which are the explicit voice of the govt, is dangerously absurd. By the way: How do you know CBC News does a good job? Partisans of ALL parties bitterly complain it's too slanted for the other side. Most Canadians know this and most Canadians know Pierre is constantly lying to them. They will stop him come election time. Canada needs MORE not less CBC. (fin)
