On 23 February 2026, Lisbon Legal Theory will organise the III Annual Lisbon–Milan Bilateral Meeting, in cooperation with the Department of Legal Sciences “Cesare Beccaria” of the University of Milan. Participation is open and free of charge, subject to prior registration.

@CarpentierUT1 @LisbonLT The general topic of the ALF Special Workshop was “The importance of legal philosophy and legal fundamentals for legal practice, doctrine and science”. Besides delievered presentations by distinguished participants, each day of the workshop was followed by fruitful discussions.

The next LLT Reading Group session dedicated to Eugenio Bulygin's book Essays in Legal Philosophy will take place on 3 July at 19:00 in the CARL2 room. The paper to be discussed will be Permissory Norms and Normative Systems and will be presented by João Luttmer.

Next Thursday, we'll have the fourth and last session of the LLT Advance Series of this school year, dedicated to the "Introducción a la lógica: hacia una lógica de normas", taught by researcher Pablo Navarro. The session will be online and taught in Spanish.
