@Mark14Robinson Yep. Him and tiny Jacobs will be at it all summer unsettling our players. Bruno, tonali, tino, gordon, it'll be constant.
English

The pasta shagger Romano is going to be relentless with this all summer isn’t he? #NUFC

@UnitedStandMUFC What does that speccy forest fan know about our club or our captain?

" I don't know if it's the Newcastle Chronicle or Christmas Chronicle... I call fake news!" 📰 #mufc

@TheiPaperSport @MsiDouglas Good. 8 signings. That's not even addressing any key player leaving. It's achievable. Half measures won't cut it.

@The__Farmster Yep. They'd have mo choice then. I think with bruno back it's less likely.
English

Sack Howe.
Give Rafa a contract to the end of the season with heavy bonus incentives.
See how it goes until May.
There’s your answer #NUFC

@KrissNufc83 In real time I thought brobbey pushed his head down and kicked him in the face..
English

@LukeEdwardsTele @toonmadmag The board need to understand the need to go far enough in a rebuild of this squad and have a pif decision maker in the negotiating team. We need to act at pace. 4 needed as soon as the window opens. 8 minimum without a key player leaving. The squad is broken and stale.
English

Newcastle will not sack Eddie Howe – this is why #nufc telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

@oldheatonian @stewart_penman @stevewraith @geordiedentist That's a great shout Steve, it felt wrong and you've hit the nail on the head here.
English

I wonder, after a defeat like, whether KK or SBR would have their players do a lap of ‘appreciation’ or would they have hauled them down the tunnel for the mother of all dressing downs?
@stewart_penman @stevewraith @geordiedentist
English

@Bazro10 @PercyArmsDisco Do it like it or find it acceptable,no but I get it. If he downed tools for next 7 games I wouldn't get.
English

@Bazro10 @PercyArmsDisco For most fans I'd imagine it's club over country but a player in regard to qualifying for a world cup I'd imagine it's country over club. This isn't Michael Owen downing tools claiming injury over playing for his club imho(you aren't saying that I know). 1 game preference i get.

12 months since a famous victory but twice, in a semi final & a derby I hear “Where’s you famous atmosphere.” It’s died after #NUFC shocking handling of last summer! No comms? No plan? No progress! Fans are human & sick of players wanting to leave & coaches families blaming them!

English

@CraigHope_DM @seaned75 If we keep him need players around him to compliment him BUT we need to be able to pivot to another striker or we're building the same issue we had with isak. Players who can play multiple positions need recruiting. Depth and balance needed. 22 balanced players/correct attributes
English

@LittleHenryD @seaned75 I agree, that after all of the experiments and use elsewhere, Woltemade probably is a N.9 who just needs more support.
English

For those who have replied asking “did you watch the game? Woltemade was not No.10”
Woltemade WAS No.10! Eddie Howe spoke afterwards about using him as a 10 & changing the shape
I mean, wasn’t this obvious just by watching the game?

@st_prm @SkySports_Keith Yep. I said last summer we needed to get a no.10/AM along with a cdm, ideally to understudy bruno and tonali. We have chosen to keep players we shouldn't and not balance the squad sufficiently...
English

@LittleHenryD @SkySports_Keith Yea we missing Bruno and Miley
But we struggle to create chances from open play whole season.

Eddie Howe says “blame me” after derby defeat to Sunderland:
🗣️ “Very painful, painful for supporters. They're the ones I'm thinking of. Very little to use as an excuse. We expect to be criticised so I understand the reaction at the end.
🗣️ “I'm fully committed to the job. I'm disappointed with my delivery today and this week. Today was even tougher than Barcelona.
🗣️ “I absorb the blame — I won't be deflecting it to players until my last breath. It’s going to be a painful few days for me.
🗣️ “It’s not a head loss. Our technical delivery was off today. We missed our midfielders, so it left us unbalanced. We made the game too much like they wanted it.
🗣️ “We never want to go through a hostile reception from crowd. I understand the criticism.”

English

@SteveMcKenna_ @CraigHope_DM @seaned75 100% odd we don't use murphy as the best crosser until either has left the pitch.
English

@CraigHope_DM @LittleHenryD @seaned75 He just needs to stay within the width of the 18 yard box, like any striker should. Get some early crosses into him

@Neuroscope_mp @Gayakwad72087 I will speak to my consultant at Great Western hospital about this, thank you. I hope a trial starts for sarcoidosis which is the prominent part of my conditions. Thanks.
English

Really important question and the two conditions need honest separate answers because they have genuinely different immune drivers.
For cutaneous lupus — genuinely encouraging.
Cutaneous lupus sits within the SLE spectrum and responds to the same B cell autoantibody reset logic that drove the remarkable results in systemic lupus. The CASTLE trial and Erlangen results covered the full lupus spectrum. A 41 year old woman at UCI Health treated with off the shelf CAR-T had her lupus symptoms dramatically reversed within weeks after nearly two decades of suffering — including skin and systemic manifestations.
The B cell reset logic applies directly to cutaneous lupus. No dedicated cutaneous-only trial yet but the biological rationale is solid and the broader lupus trials are already capturing these patients.
For sarcoidosis — more complicated and honest answer needed.
Sarcoidosis is primarily driven by macrophages and CD4 T cells forming granulomas — not autoreactive B cells. Standard CD19 CAR-T targeting B cells is not the most direct fit mechanistically for sarcoidosis specifically.
No dedicated CAR-T sarcoidosis trial exists yet.
Now for having both conditions simultaneously — this is the genuinely complex part.
CAR-T could potentially reset the lupus component through B cell depletion. But the granulomatous inflammation driving sarcoidosis has different immune roots that B cell depletion alone may not fully address.
The honest answer is CAR-T could help one condition significantly while leaving the other partially unaddressed. A combined approach targeting both B cells and the macrophage-T cell axis driving sarcoidosis granulomas would be needed for both simultaneously.
That science does not yet exist. But it is the right question to be asking.
English

@PeteGravesTV @NE5westend He needs to be more adaptable and open to change. He's too cautious at times. Now is the time to adapt. Huge refresh of the squad needed. Is he brutal enough to be on board with that? Ross Wilson needs to offer that plan and targets. We need a top big negotiating team to sort it.
English

@NE5westend Respectfully disagree. If the recruitment team had landed Howe's top targets we'd be in a strong position. As a fan base we dreamed of returning to places like the Nou Camp and competing for trophies? He's delivering.
