In response to this, Conservatives introduced a very simple motion that read:
“That the committee unequivocally condemn forced labour practices in China.”
The Liberals responded by attempting to replace “in China” with “globally.”
When asked to demonstrate the most basic concern for China’s human rights record, Liberals cannot bring themselves to do it.
