Something has happened. My Cardano posts used to get 1-5 interactions. Overnight, suddenly it has reach. It feels like the algorithm is taking a more positive view of being pro-Cardano, at least from where I am standing.

It's actually crazy to expect ADA to be worth more if we completely stop spending Treasury ADA. ADA has a capped supply. Cool! But the impact on demand is small. Only utility will bring users. A high network effect will bring growth. We need users. Let's invest in a utility.

Cardano doesn’t recover by tweaking the edges. It recovers by cutting the drain. Shut down Catalyst. Halt treasury spending. Then rebuild with discipline instead of dilution. (Sorry, not sorry $NIGHT). Right now, a lot of $ADA holders aren’t here for the ecosystem anymore…they’re not building, they’re waiting for one last pump so they can exit clean. The lackluster volume says it all.

This will probably come off as insensitive, but honestly I don’t give AF. One of the reasons I’m on here less is because every time I open X lately it’s 90% concern trolling, rage bait, whining, and pearl-clutching. “Cardano was supposed to do this for me… do that for me…” "Cardano was supposed to get me a brand new pair of shoes!" Constructive criticism is fine. But if you’re just throwing out problems with no solutions, you’re not adding value — you’re just making noise. Here’s the reality: Cardano is infrastructure. That’s it. It doesn’t owe you a living. It doesn’t owe you success. It’s like a highway — it exists so you can use it. It’s not supposed to magically levitate you to your destination. I care about my business, my customers, and the people invested in what we’re building. So no — I’m not engaging in pearl-clutching debates. We’re building. We’re building a bigger, stronger Palmyra. All I need from Cardano is solid infrastructure and the tools to do business. The rest is on us.

This was 3 days ago up until then I was part of the governance problem but people in due time will also wake up we removed a decent chunk from yoroi being our drep others will follow but governance is a hard thing due to so many different opinions and also interests but I believe in due time it's all going to work out

This is something I recently misunderstood myself, but emurgo is not a venture capital firm, and therefore does not do venture capital work. Thus, emurgo's work and draper's proposals do not conflict. I'm sharing this in case anyone else is making the same mistake.

What doesn't sit right with me is that we call them founding entities for a reason. Without any one of them, Cardano does not exist. Charles said it himself. We built a whole governance system to hand the wheel to the community that is literally why we vote. Blaming the FEs for where we are now while the community holds real governance power is a contradiction we need to sit with And before anyone says community members don't have voting power, go look at where @yutazzz sits on the delegation leaderboard. A community member right up there. How did he do it? Because he does the work, a lot of it

Cardano doesn’t focus on what actually matters for adoption. Tech is great, but price matters above all else for bringing in new users and new capital. Price go up, or ADA is dead. Better start understanding this now before it’s too late.

Fair point on Intersect, but I'd push back slightly on 'captured' FE staff show up consistently because it is literally their job to (aka they get paid for it). The community does not have that same structural incentive, and that gap is on us as much as on them. The deeper issue is real though. If the people who care most about decentralization are not in the rooms where decisions get made, we should not be surprised when the outcome looks centralized. Intersect was always community-first. Whether it actually lives up to that depends entirely on whether the community holds it to that standard

And I empathize with the confusion The community lacks strong independent leadership to take on these tasks, evidently Even a look at who leads intersect committees is a largely a list of IOG, CF and Emurgo staff. I am not kidding. Check the knowledge base. Intersect was meant to be the community arm to participate in equal footing with FEs, yet we as a community allowed it to be captured largely by FEs. I don’t know if willingly or not but this is my assessment of the situation at large. We both are bothered by the symptoms

Does the Draper Orion fund fall under something that the @Cardano_CF could fund on its own or heavily co-finance? Especially - if it is likely to result in the positive outcomes that are listed in the proposal? Net proceeds could be returned to the CF. Earnest question

@_wdm33 @Cardano_CF True. But not exactly the same. The roles of the CF and IOG/Emurgo are different. The latter two are private firms and have made it clear they have delivered what they were paid to do. They can now walk away (after completing the newly funded projects from the treasury).

Voting in Cardano governance isn’t about blocking progress. It’s about choosing between short-term growth and long-term integrity. If DReps are pushed to approve proposals quickly despite clear shortcomings, we’re not building a resilient ecosystem. We’re normalizing weak standards. Fast growth without strong governance may look good short-term, but it creates bigger risks over time. If we lower standards early, we’re not accelerating progress. We’re baking problems into the foundation. Governance only improves when we demand transparency, accountability, and alignment with the community, especially while the culture is still being set. We don’t need YES-men. We need DReps who think critically and push for better outcomes.
