This man hit the pin on the 17th hole during the final round of the 1972 US Open with a 1 iron & almost hit the pin here on the 15th hole of the final round of the 1975 Masters. He is the greatest long iron player ever, yet hardly anyone talks about or teaches the things he did.

During 2nd round Sunday Matt Every shot 29 on front nine at Riviera Open Bogeyed 10 and 12, slams putter on the cart path, picks it up, helicopters into the middle of a pond. Putts with a wedge the last 6 holes...plays them 4 under, shoots 63, finishes 6th. The man is a legend.
