The intent of Jesus and his disciples was to make converts to Judaism. There was no plan for another religion. Matthew 28:19 translated from the Aramaic: "Go, therefore, and convert all nations…” Convert to what? There was no ‘Christianity’ at that time. Convert the nations to Judaism, of course. And this is what the Judean disciples did. Over the next 300+ years, there were so many converts to Judaism that in the 4th century CE., Constantine and later Byzantine emperors issued laws and the death penalty for Gentiles who converted to Judaism. Let that sink in.

@LiveOakPirate @Gnosis_Keys Depends. People who tend to not work in a field usually are not the most competent in understanding it, unless they have devoted significant study to it in lieu. An average person is not going to be as understanding on the process of assembling and launching a rocket.
