The slogan “wantam” could be considered coded hate speech. The bile and toxicity of its speakers are a radical departure from Kenya’s political discourse. None of the previous two incumbents were subjected to such unfathomable calumny.

There is no country that doesn't have corruption ..and to be fair to them ..Past regimes were far much corrup if we ho by statistics and put emotions aside ....What's the point of electing non corrupt leaders ..less corrupt I can say ..but can not run a country ?

It appears regime apologists and bloggers have been ordered to ask anyone who criticises this government whether they criticised Uhuru Kenyatta's government. This is the dumbest way of responding to criticism. At least they don't dispute that what is happening is wrong.

Looked around my flat and wondered what I would carry with me if I was told to evacuate with an hour’s notice. Packing up a whole life in an hour and finding a place to stay? How is this not a war crime?
