Another day, another transcript test. @AssemblyAI dropped 3.5 so I ran my usual test (for accuracy only). Compared to their V3 it's . . . about the same. There's a ~300 word difference & ~80 less words in total. Negligible impact on total understanding due to...

Installed a new baby gate for the stairs. You could chastise me for doing a lot of jumping/contorting just to avoid the three seconds it takes to unlock it . . . Or you could call me brilliant for finding new ways to stay in shape at my age.

It's amazing how many things my kids can get out, how fast they can do it, and how far they can lug them . . . . . . only for those same things to become "impossible" to move back without help, too much for them do put back alone, and require 4 days to do so.

Went to an expo. Met a bunch of great people. Added a handful of them (so far) to my IG account and got suspended because they think I'm a bot. . . So am I going to have to add like 1 person a day for a month??

I remember when the various SM platforms all had a different feel and purpose, just like visiting a different US State. Anymore it's the same content, from the same creators, nearly in the same form, with some UI changes. Same with visiting other states. Bummer.

Transcription service update: @TranscriptLol released a new version today. I love the app. It's grown tons since 2024. That said, when I ran my 70s seminary class recording test it still fails badly. Auto correction strikes again. @AssemblyAI V3 remains on top by a lot.

@LauraRbnsn I will say, I did not read the article you reposted, so I do not know why that particular person would refuse to get help with the bleeding. We had nonhospital births, but had trained Mid Wives and a benchmarks for hospital intervention, including an ambulance route and plan.

Why is it no matter how fast my internet, how new and up to date my computer, Adobe updates act like I'm running dial up on a PC from 1998?
