🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Republicans dragged Gov. Pritzker to Congress to scold him over “sanctuary” policies. Instead, he flipped the script - and TORCHED the Trump administration:
“It's WRONG to deploy the National Guard and active duty Marines into an American city over the objection of local law enforcement just to inflame a situation and create a crisis…
We will not participate in abuses of power. We will not violate court orders. We will not ignore the Constitution.
We will not defy the Supreme Court. We will not take away people's rights to peacefully protest.
We also expect this administration to respect the traditions and legal precedent that dictate how and when our National Guard and military are deployed.”

@drkeithsiau @DrHassanPRO Ugh, ferritin value ranges are the worst. Ask any menstruating person how many times they've missed out on care and treatment due to a "normal" ferritin level.

Had a patient with fatigue, ferritin of 16 (normal = 15 to 300). Told by Drs that iron levels were normal as Hb also normal.
They had overlooked his low MCV and history of recurrent infections.
Told him athletes would aim for ferritin of >100, normal should be >45, bare minimum should be >15. Nobody wants to be scraping the floor at bare minimum!

@peter102746 @AshleyGWinter Just pointing out that insurance companies determine what vaccines they will cover based on recommendations from the CDC, so by removing it from the list they are essentially making people pay for it. Its efficacy has been studied and @acog recommends it for all pregnant people.

My husband got COVID a week after I gave birth to my son this January. Neither myself nor the newborn got it from him despite extensive contact before he tested himself. I was happy to have received my COVID booster during pregnancy. I am sad that others will lose that option.

Today, the COVID vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women has been removed from @CDCgov recommended immunization schedule. Bottom line: it’s common sense and it’s good science. We are now one step closer to realizing @POTUS’s promise to Make America Healthy Again.
