I find this attitude among Catholics so disheartening. No actually, potential converts being scandalised by the words of the Church hierarchy is not the fault of the potential convert. The Church leadership ought to speak more carefully, and only insist on actual teachings.

@CTrefugees @JustinusRomanus But what i mean is, I scrupulously worry about confessions all the time. I was away from the church for years. I think I confessed it all, was it good enough? Idk. A priest told me not to worry and its fine, is it? This (and the hatred of Europeans) burns me out on Christianity
