I actually think the Scottish pathway system has been pretty decent in recent years 🤫
There’s been a reasonably consistent stream of decent new players coming through, with the current Edinburgh breakthrough trio just being a particularly notable cohort.

Think some clubs would be rightly annoyed about losing national status, but if it meant better player numbers... who knows. No simple solutions, really.
