@rustybrick Also, with hotels, specially those that are seasonal, the rebranding/changing of the hotel name usually takes place when the hotel is closed (refurbishments/upgrades/new amenities can be done when there are no guests) for the season and before reopening (November to March).

@Lluc_SEO yea, i get that how often do businesses change their names? seems weird to get so many from so many different businesses?

Yesterday afternoon we received several "your profile has been updated" emails from GBP, from different clients. All of the changes were for the name of the business.

@rustybrick oh, but they were not all of the same profile. I meant that, within one hour we received 7 emails for different client profiles, all with the same edit: changes to their names.

@jamiegarzi @rustybrick Google is matching photos to represent the most valued features and amenities from Google Reviews (possible other sources too). And extracting info from them.

@rustybrick @Lluc_SEO Interesting. They seem pretty basic at the moment. I wonder how long (if not already), they supplement this with actual review data too.

@msftClarity Hi again, is the custom time range filter working correctly? No matter the range (different dates in January 2026) it always says "no data available" and when I use the nº of days filter, it shows the data. Thank you.

Since January, at least, Google Hotels is showing FAQ's on the Overview page of the hotel. Same 8 questions, regardless of the hotel typology.
