i have discord, email, phone, can meet in person and can even download zoom or *shudder* microsoft teams if you would like to have a nuanced conversation about these issues. let's put together a summit of tier 2 orgs, collegiate leaders, lcs partners, tournament organizers, players, casters, and talk about what each party can offer and what they gain and see how we can forge something that works for everyone if you really are glad that "passionate folks" are involved in the scene, then let's actually see how they can be involved in this process and build something where everyone can pool together resources, figure out the constraints and go into next year with something that people feel like they had a hand in shaping. the biggest problem this year wasn't that there were mistakes, it's that people feel a sense of uncertainty about why things happen the way they do and what's going to happen next. they don't have clear rules for what should happen and then situations are handled inconsistently and schedules and philosophies are constantly changed. the less people feel like they have control or connection to the space, the less likely they are to invest their time, money, and effort. this is the real reason the scene is dying.

@parthenaan Appreciate the thoughtful video. Many of things you mentioned we've also been discussing. Hard to convey a complex response via tweet but I'm glad passionate folks like you are involved in the scene. This was our first year of Pro/Rel so lots of learnings heading into next year.
