This is crazy. Even thinking about the fact that I played League in Season 2 and now it is season 16. Season 3 I played a lot and peaked dia 1 on 25fps, 10 in Teamfight. Such an insane thing to think about, nowadays anything below 240fps I wouldn’t even be able to enjoy.

The more especially off stream I play parallel ladder, the more apparent it feels how high the agency in the game is atm. Likely the highest it ever was, since I started playing. Potentially too high for an already high agency card game. I think a lot more people should play Normal Workshop, it is the new "Cathy", little you can do wrong in the perfect draw games. Cathy should prob also be buffed, but that feels very difficult as it would need to be a strong burn Cathy for the sake of the "meta", no clue if the more casual players want to see burn Cathy again though.

@viper_9337 @SamSteffanina @Aniimo_EN beta was decent, combat really good for a mon collecting game, they might just hit it if it's not some insanely bad monetization.

I think pkmn as a game is bad nowadays, only alive due to nostalgia and people who have disposable income just buying the new game every year. A truly good monster collector game has insane potential, big studios like Hoyoverse even see this opportunity, timer might be ticking for the web3 games due to that competitor entering tbh.

Shadowverse is a lot of fun. Client is 10/10. The in game tourney experience is nice and this grand prix event was cool as well. I hope I am not trying too much and bite more than I can chew, but I can see myself trying to play SV and Parallel both on a serious level atm.

I played a little bit of Shadowverse 2 while chilling on my vacation, seems like a very well done game. Can’t comment much on the „how competitive/skill cap side“ yet, but games are quick and fun and feel interactive.

@joseprust This is Illuvium's completely f2p autobattler, weekly placement rewards, so top 5 gets the 10$+ a day, the problem is that will also work out to something like 1-2$ an hour. Previously there were plenty of niche card games with 100-1k total playerbase you could farm $ for free.

The whole „everyone“ take is obv too extreme, but I have seen many devs in this space that either didn’t love what they were doing and just wanted to make money or who love it too much. So much they should rather build a low budget indie game instead of 8-9 figure funded ones as their goal is/was make what they like instead of a version that can reach enough people/revenue.
