Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats have blocked Secret Service and DHS funding for over 2 months. No more excuses. No more games. Pay the brave Americans protecting our president and nation.

This week I will introduce and seek unanimous consent for legislation providing express approval for construction of a Presidential ballroom.   It is an embarrassment to the strongest nation on earth that we cannot host gatherings in our nation’s capital, including ones attended by our President, without the threat of violence and attempted assassinations. There is no place for political violence in America. Unfortunately, it seems, too many people believe trying to kill our President and members of our government is acceptable.   A President of any party should be able to host events in a secure area without attendees worrying about their safety.     This is common sense. Let’s get it done.

THE SENATE MAJORITY LEADER JOHN THUNE has been completely SILENT. Not a single word. Not one statement since a gunman tried to assassinate President Trump and members of his Cabinet last night! I’ll say it again louder for those in the back: THE REPUBLICAN SENATE MAJORITY LEADER, the guy who’s supposed to LEAD the Senate for our side hasn’t uttered a peep while the President of the United States and members of his cabinet had a gunman try to take them out! Zero leadership. Zero backbone. Zero outrage. This is what weak leadership looks like when it matters most. Time to demand @SenateGOP remove Thune.

Fewer than 3 years. That’s all the time we have left. If we lose 2026, we are likely to lose 2028. Our Republican Senate majority hasn’t passed any meaningful legislation, which means many of President Trump’s policies aren’t codified into law. If a democrat president wins 2028, then these 4 years won’t mean anything. The next Department of Homeland Security Secretary will reopen the border — just like Alejandro Mayorkas did. Then, when democrats regain control of the Senate, they will nuke the filibuster & pass legislation to implement automatic mail-in ballots in all 50 states. Ballot harvesting will be the law of the land. They will stack the Supreme Court, add 2 new democrat Senators with the creation of DC as a state, & establish a permanent democrat majority. We have the power to stop this, but the question is whether or not @LeaderJohnThune wants to be remembered as a hero or a villain.

We are way past just passing the Save Act now. Nuke the filibuster and pass the entire America first agenda. We have seen enough. It's time.🇺🇸
