X has taught me that people here are just never happy. They always seem so depressed and negative about everything, no matter what it is. I think some people need to learn not to be terminally online to the point where every little thing affects them mentally and emotionally, even when it's not direct. I genuinely feel sorry for the people who sit on X all day just being hateful and negative.

15 year old games... Of all the things some PS5 owners self-sabotage on and make themselves look so spineless and useless even though they protested the Physical Media removal by Sony and PlayStation... They do it over digital ports of 14-16 year old Call of Duty games??? Black Ops 1 and 2 go to as cheap as $13 on Steam...while the PS5 PORT is around $40, OR $20 if you are still a PSN+ member. Idk whether to be laughing or feeling second-hand embarrassment. This is clown behaviour.

The Crew was a live service game. Developers and the creators of those games have a right to stop supporting games. Bungie recently ended live service updates to Destiny 2 and people are still able to play it. The Crew is a special case because nobody was playing it and their resources went to other projects. Do you know what game also died after The Crew? XDefiant, another Ubisoft live service title that got the axe because devs were focusing on other projects and not many people were playing the game. Same thing happened with Concord. Same thing happened with Highgaurd. Why would a company keep spending money on keeping a live service game alive if nobody plays it? Like honestly, this is why most of you young adults have no concept of what it takes to keep a game going.

Spot on. Meta folded in less than a week because they realized you can't push public sentiment past its breaking point without destroying your own brand. Sony is about to find out exactly what that feels like. Fuck Sony and their digital monopoly agenda—it’s not going to work. As I said before this post right here is going to be the silent killer of PlayStation. Once the towel gets thrown in, it's not because people gave in, it's because people gave up. It's not because they switched to digital in desperation it's because they brought their money elsewhere. PlayStation follows the bricks and minifigs public outrage rule book to ignore outrage because it will be gone after a month. What that handbook doesn't tell you is because you're then past the point people care about your brand and see you for who you truly are. A company who ignored the problem at hand. While their consumers went through all the stages of grief to end up accepting you for what you are. If you wanted to save some face you had to jump in before the denial phase is over. It's simple psychology but these multi billion companies look at spreadsheets rather then actually understand their market and simple human psyche. The public outrage handbook only works for individuals who don't have to make money off the people they caused the outrage with.

@JuunTV I dont know where this ends but if discs go away then there is absolutely zero reason to move forward with the big legacy companies. The PS5 will be my last console, i've been around to witness the birth of this brand back in the 90s i'm getting too old for this shit now.

Today’s the day I’m throwing in the towel. I’m getting rid of my PS5 and I don’t intend to support them further outside of peripherals. I feel no need to support Sony and their bullshit business practices any further. There’s barely any games on the system. PS+ doesn’t offer me much personally. I’m putting all my chips into PC gaming and Switch 2. Sony is actively killing physical media, and they have 0 intention to double back, so why should I?
