SpaceX is such a bad ass company. In their IPO filing, they wrote this: • The first private company to develop and launch a liquid-fuel rocket to reach orbit (2008) • The first private company to successfully dock a private spacecraft with the International Space Station (2012) • The first to successfully propulsively land (2015) and refly orbital-class rocket boosters (2017) • The first to begin deploying a large-scale LEO broadband satellite constellation (2019); • The first private company to transport astronauts to orbit, returning America's ability to fly astronauts to and from the International Space Station (2020) • The first to manufacture consumer-grade phased-array user terminals at scale (2022); The first to deploy a large-scale LEO satellite-to-mobile constellation (2025) • The first to build a gigawatt-scale Al training cluster and largest coherent supercomputer (2026) • The first gigawatt-scale Megapack battery installation (2026); and • The only company capable of building orbital AI compute at scale. BOOM.

We’re in transformational times. There’s likely a number of ‘Amazon opportunities’ in the current environment. Amazon (AMZN) • Then (peak period): ~$3.35 per share (split-adjusted; unadjusted peak ~$113 in late 1999). Market cap at peak: roughly $25–30 billion range (exact varied by exact date; it had already started declining by March 2000). • Now: $272.68 per share. Market cap: ~$2.85 trillion. • Growth: Price ~81× higher; valuation ~95–114× larger. Amazon crashed >90% post-bubble but rebuilt into a global giant

Same here. By way of background for those who care, I spent a lot of time last week with senior members of the Anthropic team to understand what they do to ensure Claude is good for humanity and was impressed. Everyone I met was highly competent and cared a great deal about doing the right thing. No one set off my evil detector. So long as they engage in critical self-examination, Claude will probably be good. After that, I was ok leasing Colossus 1 to Anthropic, as SpaceXAI had already moved training to Colossus 2.

One could say "Disastrous mess" or one could say that the brutal efficiency and speed by which their leadership, infrastructure and ability to fight at scale has been wiped out is impressive. It's both IMO. Could affecting change and dismantling the Iranian regime ever have been a smooth process? The question is whether the juice is worth the squeeze; is the world now a safer place, are the USA's adversaries less empowered?

I think Iran is governed by an evil regime that oppresses its people and sponsors terrorism all over the Middle East. I also think this war is turning into a disastrous mess for America and the world. Hope this helps.

Elon Musk was paid $158 billion by Tesla last year. That is double the entire budget of the U.S. Department of Education.

Elon Musk does not automatically receive $158.4 billion (or anything close to it) just because the award was granted and reported in Tesla’s 2025 filings. That headline number is the grant-date fair value of the equity under accounting rules. Actual payout/value to him is 100% contingent on hitting the performance metrics. Here’s how it works in plain terms: • The award is split into 12 separate performance tranches. • For each tranche to vest, Tesla must achieve both: 1. A specific market-cap milestone (stepping up significantly, ultimately toward the $8.5 trillion+ level), AND 2. A corresponding operational milestone (e.g., cumulative vehicle deliveries, robotaxi deployment, Optimus humanoid robot production, energy storage, etc.). • These can be hit in any order, but all must be completed within the 10-year performance period (roughly through ~2035). • Vesting is back-loaded: Even after milestones are met, the shares don’t fully vest immediately. Earlier tranches vest after 7.5 years of continued service; later ones at the full 10-year mark. Musk must remain in an approved executive role the entire time. • After vesting, there’s an additional 5-year holding period during which he cannot sell the shares. If Tesla misses any of the required milestones for a tranche, that portion of the award never vests and Musk gets zero value from it. In other words, the $158.4 billion figure you see in the news is the maximum potential value if every single metric is hit perfectly on schedule. Anything less, and his realized compensation from this plan drops accordingly (possibly to $0 for unvested portions). This is the same philosophy as Tesla’s original 2018 performance package — it’s deliberately designed as an all-or-nothing, long-term incentive so Musk’s payout is tied directly to enormous growth in the company’s valuation and execution on ambitious goals (vehicles, autonomy, robotics, energy). No performance = no payout.

🔥🚨DEVELOPING: JP Morgan executive is being accused of turning an married Indian man that she hired into her personal sex slave that she drugged, forced to have intercorse with her while making him take viagra as she threatened to take his job from him if he didn’t comply. When the alleged victim said no, she allegedly told him: "If you don't f*k me soon, I'm going to ruin you. Never forget, I f*king own you." Additional alleged remarks: "You really think management wants some Indian boy leading organizations?" “If you don’t have sex with me tonight, I’m going to sabotage your promotion.” “I bet your little Asian fish-head wife doesn’t have these cannons.” If these allegations are true they should be met with the same scrutiny as if the roles were reversed.

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate. A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

If you’re not condemning these lunatics, you’re advocating for the end of the American empire. I’m not for canceling people, but the fact the @nytimes and @newyorker not only employees these individuals, but selects them to represent their brands, shows exactly how bankrupt they are.
