Thought Id share this beautiful email my mom received from a past student. Unbeknownst to sender, it came at a time when my mom was feeling pretty down about the education system & if she’s even making a difference. Just a nice reminder that there is “power in small actions”

Apparently, this incident happened in 2023 and she has worked through it and received medical care, parenting, classes, etc., and her ex Dakota just released this video right before she was to appear on The Bachelorette. Dakota vengefully wanted to destroy her life forever. And he certainly did that.

@navyroyce @rawmilkhoney What?!? What kind of people do you hang around? When I was a young adult I knew 2 women who were abused 1 who was an abuser (all divorced now). But since having kids I don’t have or know of anyone in such situations. You need to surround yourself w/better people.

California's 2021-2022 state auditor report already flaged these issues. The story is using the red flags in that report 3. California already imposed a moratorium on new hospice licenses because of these findings 4. You would never know any of the above from the way CBS (and even more so Nick Shirley) are framing this as if they discovered a fresh bombshell. Do you not see that? 5. I’m not voting Democrat, but we absolutely have to wipe out the entire congressional GOP. Anything short is a half measure and won’t cut it, I think almost everybody reading this thread probably understands that now. All of them, save maybe 5, have to go. The easiest and most realistic way to do that is to convince everyone to do the easiest thing in the world in November 2026, and stay home. Then, in 2028, we can approach a monumental election year with new candidates, a new plan and a new party reborn from the ashes. Anybody have a better idea? Because I haven’t heard one.
