Dear @Roku, I have two remotes in front of me, and between them only one usable pre-programmed app button that's relevant between them. When will I be able to re-program buttons for apps that have died? I need a @Plex button.

I just picked up a CHEAP "mountain bike" at a cheaper price. Looked it up on DuckDuckGo. Any search result that offers a glowing review for "all skill levels" gets blocked as AI slop/worthless. At least DDG lets me fine-tune away the bad things. Thanks!

@YouTube Youtube's recent choices of ads to show me include auto dealerships in South Korea and South Africa, and here I am not even going to South Carolina.

I guess the TLDR of this thread is this: My personal experiences with @Youtube ads as a viewer has led me to the following opinions: Google's ad personalization does not function as promised, and 'My Ad Center' is either faulty or faux.

Youtube's ad choices always amaze me. It's as if the system looks at my "My Ad Center" selections and says, "Fuck you in particular." I've played the game by your rules, @Youtube, and you don't. It's all fat drugs and cars, and I'm a skinny biker. Please do better.

Holy crap, @EpicGames, I just went and collected the free games of the week and it wasn't an annoying chore! Y'all streamlined the user experience in a positive way. Do you know how rare that is these days? That NEVER happens. Thanks!

I don't spend years training software to do things my way and then just throw away all that training over something trivial.

@Youtube, I don't want to clear whole histories. I just want to see a list of channels I've asked you to not recommend and MAYBE selectively remove one or two of them. Heck, I'd settle for a button on a channel's home page that returned it to suggestions with a click.

Wow, I FINALLY fount the hidden feature on @Plex for Roku that lets me re-order the libraries in my favorites. That's a feature that could use a duplicate link in the settings, guys.

Yeah, I know. That post reads like my mindset after finally restarting my phone because Strava is failing miserably and audibly while I'm driving to pick my son up from his job.

MapMyRide is simple, and works well. Strava seems to have more features and hangs after stopping ride, but won't let me do anything else, even when I close the app and it's still saying "pausing ride" and "resuming ride" every time I stop and go until I restart my phone.

@Bluesky, I'm trying again, but results thus far do not give me confidence. NO information in suspension email about what post triggered the horrible accusation. No response to appeal. No nothing. Do you have staff for this?
