Definitely, TPDCO should not only erect costly signage, but if in funds, clean up May Pen Cemetery in Kingston, also Pye River Cemetery in MoBay, and even their infamous North Gully (Tourism interests recently wrote the PM about the "garbage crisis" in tourist areas).

Upgrade to the Trench Town Polytechnic entrance is financed by the Tourism Product Development Co. How many tourists visit there? This is the problem with earmarked public funds like TPDCo, CHASE. They end up being slush funds often used for purposes far away from their mandate.

The ultimate proof that Iran has, in fact, escalation dominance here. Iran already said "there has been no direct or indirect contact" with Trump (iranintl.com/en/liveblog/20…). He basically chickened out after Iran's threats on desalination. Incredibly, Iran took on the US symmetrically and won.

@CarmonaSir @DamienWKing @annaliesalin The bottomline, respectfully, is I disagree with Dr King, as apparently does PM Holness and Tourism Minister Barlett, who are responsible for TPDCO. I suspect Dr King needs to properly acquaint himself with TPDCO's principal mandate to uplift tourism communities.

He is not saying Trench Town is not deserving of the development; he is asking whether TPDCo. is the appropriate agency to be doing it - given its mandate?
