@SammyFid @thecaptain1912 Yea they haven’t explained it coz I think they normally assume it’s the last defender. After seeing his leg in an ‘offside’ position you then decide if he interferes with play and he’s holding/blocking the defender

@Loftus1987 @thecaptain1912 Why didn’t they say that? It was more that Haaland was interfering, not that the keeper was ahead. Understand the rule but poor explanation from officials and commentators 🤷

@thecaptain1912 @SammyFid The law states that it’s the second to last opponent (normally keeper is the last) but it looks like the lines drawn on the keepers boot. Don’t agree with the time it took but that is the law
