@rdbarton@JDVanceNewsX Yes, and Kamala is a wise and capable leader and diplomat who could easily handle long form podcast interviews, but chose not to for some reason.
Our rights to free speech under the First Amendment are being taken away by taking down TikTok. Who's behind this? Jewish Federations of North America and Anti-Defamation League (ADL) campaigned to ban TikTok to silence criticism of "Israel" over its genocide of Palestinians. The criticism isn't coming from TikTok or its owners, but from young people who use the platform who see and talk about the brutal war crimes by "Israel" in Gaza.
The TikTok ban was approved by Congress in violation of the United States Constitution's guarantee of free speech. This is the same Congress where 362 candidates for 535 seats received donations from AIPAC. The Congress which gave standing ovations to Binyamin Netanyahu, a war criminal wanted by the International Criminal Court. The same Congress which passed additional security assistance to "Israel" in the midst of IDF's bombing and shelling of Gaza. IDF murdered 320,000 Palestinians and injured 109,571, many with severe burns and amputations. Thousands have suffered permanent injuries and over 10,000 children have lost one or both legs. 20,000 children have been orphaned.
Preventing young people from seeing or sharing videos of "Israel's" genocide of Palestinians is the driver of the TikTok ban. One report claimed, though without foundation, that each half hour of TikTok use makes the user 17% more "anti-Semitic," a word deliberately corrupted by "Israel" and ADL to refer to criticism of "Israel" and its genocide of Palestinians, rather than the true, original meaning of against Jews.
China was then raised as a boogeyman by members of Congress. A nonexistent national security "issue" was fabricated. It was falsely claimed by Congress members that TikTok was controlled by "CCP" or the Chinese government. In fact, TikTok is owned by private company ByteDance. ByteDance is 60% owned by international investors, 20% by the two engineers who created the platform and 20% by its employees, including 7,000 in the United States.
A phony concern was raised that user data could be accessed by the Chinese government. TikTok offered to house US users' data in the United States on its servers there. A firewall could prevent transfer of the information to China. But the lawmakers did not accept this solution. Because the concern all along was to block free speech about "Israel" and its brutal and barbaric war crimes against Palestinians. Not by China, but by young people using TikTok.
The First Amendment rights of Americans are being denied by Congress to appease the pro-"Israel" influence groups which want to block criticism of "Israel" and its war crimes. A pro-"Israel" lobby group is using its influence over Congress to deny free speech rights of Americans.
This is what "Israel" First really means. Congress members who put "Israel" first, before America, to violate the constitutional rights of Americans to benefit the Netanyahu regime and appeal to the pro-"Israel" lobby. Our Founders never imagined how pusillanimous members of Congress would act against the Bill of Rights in the United States Constitution to deny First Amendment free speech rights to Americans to benefit a foreign nation, "Israel," and its regime and conceal its war crimes from Americans sharing information with each other.
@coloradotravis Government currencies are backed by the fiscal responsibility of those governments and their resistance to solve their budgetary problems by printing money. That is, “backed” by a reverse incentive.
@JohnEDeaton1 John, please don’t get too enamored with this argument. How many idiots buy #XRP with that little research?
I would not own as much of the stuff if Ripple was not in the business of stewarding their PRODUCT, the open source network and utility currency they manufactured.
I have questions for the SEC:
How do investors enter into a common enterprise with a company they’re completely unaware of?
How do those investors rely on the promises or inducements from a company if they’re unaware that that company exists?

I live in Norway and I can tell you everything is back to normal here.
No masks. No covid passports. No social distancing rules. Everything is open.
People are out living their lives like normal, going to restaurants, meeting friends etc.
@APompliano What is demand, but an aggregation of opinions? Including mine. What if demand for $50 transactions dries up? I guess devoted maxis will keep it alive at *some* price.
