Today’s the day, don’t forget that there are multiple Divvy stations, multiple bike racks, & multiple tailgates, but there is only one #cf97 bike valet. Next to the merch truck between the Waldron deck & the pedestrian underpass. We will update this thread with ride schedule.

No #CycleToSoldierField bike ride from the NW Side this weekend. Instead a special early north lakefront bike ride. Arriving ~4:30-5pm for the Josh Strauts memorial in the south lot. Look out for us along the route at the QR code below. We will tweet #cf97 ride status updates.

@MoriciRobert @MaxBretosSports We agree that the MLS playoff system is a joke, but that is not unique to MLS, & is true of many competitions worldwide, just follow Conor O'Grady on TikTok or Instagram if you need a reminder that all sports leagues have bizarre competition formats. 2/2

@MoriciRobert @MaxBretosSports Please, utilize an ounce of research skills in order to recognize that multiple European top flights utilize a system where the league splits in 2 based on record halfway through the season, & in some of them a team from the lower half can still qualify for continental play. 1/2

Mauricio Pochettino is a guy who played or coached in Argentina, La Liga, Ligue 1 & Premier League. He said what he said & it carries credibility. Btw I am down to hear "a 2nd opinion", outside USSoccer circles. I can add I have seen Poch or one of his assts at an MLS game I was working on at least 7/8 times, Including last week. So they are watching.

@ProRelSpectator @Chrissao_ @TheLeague_FC @MetroplexLeague But Metro did have some of their teams announced as part of NISA Nation, they included both the NISA Nation Championship & the NISA Independent Cup on their website under League Tournaments. Whereas the other 2 never fully jumped in the NISA Nation boat.

@TheLeague_FC @MetroplexLeague This is really cool. MPL used to have a partnership with GCPL as well. So, if those two had aligning goals, it would make sense that if GCPL & TLFC have aligning goals, MPL & TLFC would have aligning goals. Hopefully, these are two of many. (*cough* EPSL and SWPL *cough*.)

@sing_electric @barnburners1871 Would be an amazing partnership for a supporters group to have with the Jewel at Wabash/Roosevelt, since it is right at the L stops. Fanbulance would make quite a gameday impression in that location if we could figure out the public consumption aspect.

@sing_electric @barnburners1871 Some of the lots will probably explicitly promote tailgating too (in blue). It would be a smart ploy by the 2 Jewel's nearby if they required that you have a receipt for a certain minimum purchase in order to tailgate for free, since they don't have garages.

@barnburners1871 @sing_electric It's likely that even people who drive will likely park at one of the underused garages & lots nearby that will have game day rates. The ones in red are also likely to have deals for parking validation if you pregame by shopping, drinking, or eating at one of their stores. 2/2

@barnburners1871 @sing_electric Chinatown exit intersection was already redone to improve pedestrian safety while increasing the vehicular capacity of Wentworth north of Cermak. If the Metra tracks are relocated as planned, then that would also add at least 1 access point via Clark to further disperse traffic.

Each of the nearby highways have exits that align with Roosevelt, Wells, or Wentworth, which will be the main routes for vehicular access to the stadium. There also are Canalport/18th & State exits for folks who want to take alternate routes.
