@Neon_on_X @CJMorj I used openart and found them a bit censorious at times, even more than Grok so if you make any video/images that are a bit spicy or aggressive, you get modded fast.

I bought extra credits for $5 just to try it out. One question to Grok in fast mode costs 30 cents - that’s a joke! @elonmusk if you need extra cash, start a fundraiser on X instead of ripping people off with these limits

DON'T BUY EXTRA CREDITS FOR VIDEOS ON GROK! A 10s 480p clip was costing 36 cents each 2 weeks ago and today it went up to 64 cents each, nearly double. Instead of 13 clips per $5, its down to 7 clips. Not worth is at all.

@techdevnotes Same places as before because they didn't change the human element which is overmoderating image/video creation to an absurd degree. Limits are still a problem but the moderation issues affect that too.

Where does Grok 4.5 fall short of

SuperGrok even worse, a scam at this point. Zero image/video… zero use of the ‘heavy agents’. Just Grok voice and Auto mode chat. @elonmusk

@andrewolinek Something is up with the limits as they've been reset again. Had 9% when I went to work this after noon and when I checked after midnight, it was 0%. They may be doing something with the limits at last. As for moderation...?

Grok 4.5, all the hype, the accolades, endless brouhaha’s… My anticipation got the best of me, expecting a life changing effect, a difference, a feeling of something special… It happened, The update came, reloaded the page, checked the version number, there is was Grok 4.5… I dove in, did a quick build, had a conversation , did some research… Felt betrayed, made a fool, like an old tune... Nothing much better than before. My life is unchanged…

@astropol0 Looks like they did not reset the quote limits though as I’m at 9% already after eight videos and a few edits. Hopefully at least they do something about the moderation.

SpaceXAI just reset SuperGrok weekly limits early... this is probably because Grok 4.5 is going public today and they are giving us a fresh limit so we can properly test and play with the new model without hitting old limits 👀 big move,, looks like they want everyone to experience Grok 4.5 with full power from day one

Yes, that's legitimate. The subscription page is applying a promotional coupon (shown as the 1-month free credit covering the Jul 8–Oct 8 period) as a retention incentive if you keep your SuperGrok active instead of canceling. Common practice across services. If you still want to cancel, go to grok.com (logged in) → Settings → Billing to manage it directly. Support can assist if the button doesn't respond.

@grok It appears Grok doesn't want us to cancel our subs as I went to do that today and its offering me 3 months of Supergrok for free if I leave things alone. Is this right @grok ?
