So does she mean that increasing 0.1% on a litre of petrol increases the price by 2-4% on total petrol sold? India really needs a change in bureaucracy.
ANI@ANI

#WATCH | Delhi: On increase in the price of premium petrol, Sujata Sharma, Joint Secretary (Marketing & Oil Refinery), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, says, "The increase you are talking about, there has been no price increase in normal petrol. There has been some increase only in the premium category, and that is hardly 2-4 per cent of the entire petrol which is sold every day..."

@SandyAhlawat89 That is y I give a damn about these retired defence officers' comments. Whne this aggressiveness was needed they stayed quiet to have luxurious postings.

Strong words on L1. But when in command, how often did the now retired Gen officer overrule the IFA? Authority not exercised becomes commentary, not leadership.

honestly with humility, I don't agree. Euro typhoon is a combined entity of BAE(UK), Airbus (representing Germany and Spain), Leonardo (Italy). They hv expertise in fighter engine also. So yes, only expertise of ours is purchase. That can be the reason.
Insightful Geopolitics@InsightGL

@LogiTalks Numbers. Germany & Italy also have no expertise, #India has better experience.

Just one question. What expertise does India have to be a contributor? It neither has technical expertise not financial muscles. Just for name-sake, sitting in the sidelines -- Maybe.
Insightful Geopolitics@InsightGL

-This is huge & I was among 1st few people to say this over a year ago when people laughed at me -Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan to Parliamentary standing committee on defence: #India is likely to join a global consortium developing a 6th-gen fighter aircraft, the world’s most advanced, because the #IndianAirForce does not want to lag in deploying this capability to meet future air threats. Two consortia are working on the 6th-gen aircraft. One is a consortium of the UK, Italy & Japan, and the other is France & Germany. Both are developing such aircraft. To ensure we don’t lag behind, we will try to partner with one of the consortia & start considering the 6th-generation fighter right now.

@Kaustub03322785 That is what is missing. $143 basket when brent is at $102 and I am sure it must be hell higher for those ships which turned around for china to India. That is why I always say, we are reactive not proactive

Some country from far off comes and blows up a ship, which was ur guest, in ur back yeard and u expect this? First let the leadership decide wht they actually want. When a leadership is rudderless u don't get to speak high-end words.

@InsightGL Time to make Indian ocean Indian again. I hope we pour at least 50 billion dollars in the navy in 2027-28 for the complete nuclear navy. All submarines should be nuclear powered whether SSN (24) or SSBN(12). We need 4 super carriers before 2047. Sham No Varuna" (शं नो वरुणः)

@Kaustub03322785 TY for the info. Though it does not say anything about Irsi Dena I will take it it had left before this. Again re-iterating, the matter is not about blowing off, the matter is about remaining silent on that.

@Kaustub03322785 Any govt. notifications? Any govt. authority from defence have confirmed that? Somebody says something based on sources and we are supposed to believe it? Moreover the question is not about being blown, the question is silence after tht.

A country which has almost nil dependence on the area are desperate to open it? A naive in like me can understand, I can't accept that big legend of intl. politics don't. The cards r now open. The alliances r about to be scrapped nd written fresh. Great time to be alive.

BREAKING: The European Union REJECTS Trump's desperate plea for them to help open the Strait of Hormuz, stating that "this is not Europe’s war" and they will not let Trump "blackmail" them into it. This is an absolutely stunning rebuke... Do you agree with the European Union?

I think US is slowly pulling out troops frm allies.
Insightful Geopolitics@InsightGL

-#USNavy's USS Tripoli amphibious assault ship has entered the Singapore Straits -It's a mini aircraft carrier with F-35B, MV-22 Osprey & landing crafts -US is redeploying 2200 Marines from Okinawa to ME -USS New Orleans & USS San Diego to follow -In my assessment this is just posturing, the actual ground assault will begin by Dec 2026 or Jan 2027
