@Narushioww No idea what you meant by this lol, but it's just a matter of taste I like WuWa's better, they're quite simple but more natural feeling. Special but still a part of the same world everyone (NPCs) lives in If trying too hard to stand out, to me it looks like they using a costume

@redsolus Yep totally agreed. Maybe i could add Camellya's as the 2nd best, but i said it before: Genshin story is still better just cuz they land these awesome peaks. 75% is filler or plain mid, but no one cares cuz the best moments are what sticks with you Wuwa still needs those peaks

@LogosEssentia I haven’t had the story “move” me like other games do. The exception to this is Encore. Her character story was amazing. Everything else, was ranging from good to ok, but didn’t “move” me like how Encore’s made me tear.

I’m curious, considering every aspect of the game, from 1.0 all the way to 2.1. How would you rate Wuthering Waves? Compared to all video games. Not just gacha. I personally think its the best gacha game out now but I personally wouldn’t rate it above 3.5/5 ⭐️

@a_daayum @redsolus Nah, they said Shorekeeper -had- to be the Tethys core. Without it, the system wouldn't work and a hella lot of crap would happen. Rover was "nah, humanity wins" (emotion over cold machine, etc), and it's alright but... No explanation over this afterwards. We all dying or what?

@LogosEssentia @redsolus abby bro... one of the problem with "show dont tell" is that people are easy to miss the detail. thats why paimon is succesful.

@redsolus Also tbf i know they're improving on it, but still needs a lot of work, and i don't like it at all them getting closer to hyv in so much stuff I get it always aimed for "genshin but better" (and except story, they did it), but i wanted something just different/original from Kuro

@redsolus Same here, best gacha but no more than a 3.5 if against real good games Honestly half my problem is the story. Focus way too much on characters and too little in worldbuilding + many times they don't know how to end it. Still waiting to know how the hell 1.3 problem got solved

@3_nnu1 2.0 story was a 5/10 at best, thanks to all the Carlotta glazing and Kuro pulling weird stuff just to slide her waifu ass at every corner Cut her screentime in half and quest goes up to 8.5/10 Ironically her companion quest is good. Was meant to fucus on her, and it did

@Drakesrevenge88 But i'll say, genshin in particular (their other games are boring to me) still has a charming world and characters i'm truly fond of If they ever smh decided to do **strong** Alts or reworks of my favs, i might reinstall to get em C6R5 ngl Veeeery unlikely tho, so i moved on

@Drakesrevenge88 Nah, i and never cared about monetization My problem is their kits. I care about a character, i'm willing to spend money to get and make em strong, but hyv suddenly decides "this one will suck" for no reason, and now most of my favs are crap even at C6 Got tired of that BS 1/2

For those that have a neutral to bad feeling towards Hoyo games, but don't have HDS, would y'all change your outlook on the company if they did something as simple as make either the initial debut of a character 100% or make the weapon guaranteed?

@3_nnu1 Is literally illusive realm but a bit worse. The more fun/broken metaphors and character buffs are gone, but having a team makes it actually easier My main complaint is that i liked the OG's different kits and buff combos, was different from usual gameplay so i'd like it back

@AlsyzerKietai Not for Brant *yet*, but i can defend Roccia day and night (AoE, CC, mobility, strong quickswap, general buffer and the best for havoc we'll get in a BIG while) Specially the stupidest thing: "you have to build her". Literally only 70% crit rate and her dmg is worth it 😑

@Carlottaaaaaa1 @stepleaks Yeah seen some leaks about it, but afaik that one is very old and hasn't been confirmed yet. Hope it's true tho, cuz a plain Havoc Zhezhi sounds better than Brant v2 ngl

Brant is the most skippable charater of all time I have been playing gacha games for 15 years and i haven't felt the need to skip anything as much as brant

@Razor_Language Nah he's the same solid 9/10 as always. Others on quickswap go no-stop dmg till nothing left standing Jiyan's dmg is equally good, but when reseting the rotation looses lots of dmg Overal he's good but for ex, playing Encore+Roccia on quickswap still gives better results

Did I just hear Jiyan back to the top of meta because of whimpering... Is this game really make us able to clear endgame content without forcing us to play in specific team/units?

@MatteriumUchiha OP is exagerating, but tbh i do feel kinda low lately Gacha burnout makes me want other games + kinda tired of waiting some stuff to be fixed + tbh story kinda mid + i don't want any of the next ~6 months of characters, so not feeling encouraged to play for those pulls

@Legend0777 They can fix it tho. I don't think this'll ever be funnier than ToA (both kinda mid), but is interesting this 2nd meta focused on AoE and CC ToA and WhiWa seems to want opposite types of kits (burst of single target dmg/non-stop AoE dmg) so all characters can shine somewhere

@Legend0777 It's not awful, but boring Blindly follow your rotation for 2 min straight (x2). Nevermind there are enemies on screen. Only 1 buff enables a different play style (ult CD reduction) + most of the rest are character specific If it weren't for the astrites i wouldn't play it ngl
