@RexProfessor I don't think its reasonable to expect anybody nowadays to be willing to drop that amount of cash on a single game setup if they don't want.

@RexProfessor I absolutely agree. A lot of people have compared shiny hunting to the speedrun community (reasonably), and retro game speedruns have the same issue where the hardware is unreasonably difficult to obtain. Some leaderboards have completely incorporated emulator runs w/console runs

So you want to judge someone for using an emulator to shiny hunt? Yesterday I saw a 2DS for just $89.95 which is actually pretty fair. Pokémon White 2 - $185, total cost on hardware: $274.94 Cost on emu: $0 Wanna hunt other games too? Cost goes up on retail, always the same for💻
