I welcome stronger measures to protect people from Covid. But Boris Johnson’s recent actions have undermined public trust. His contempt for the public won’t be forgotten. Serious times call for serious leadership. I hope the Prime Minister takes his own guidance this time.

I think @BorisJohnson has played everyone. He played the Left who thought he was a ‘libertarian’ against restrictions and so called for more, and he played the Right who thought he was really on their side. In truth he’s a hardcore ‘Great Resetter’ who has had everyone fooled.
