It’s a privilege to be moderating a panel discussion on November 11th, titled “Cohesion in a Fractured World: Interfaith Innovation Amid a Multicrisis” @ParisPeaceForum. Together, we’ll explore how faith & culture can be a catalyst for understanding and unity. We’ll tackle essential questions: How can we turn diversity into a foundation for unity? Can interfaith cohesion lead us to solutions for today’s #multicrises?  Delivering a keynote will be H.E @NouraAlKaabi - Minister of State @mofauae, followed by a panel discussion with Chris Seiple - Senior Fellow, @UWJSIS, Abdullah Shehi - Acting Executive Director of the @abrahamicfh, and @MeredithGCP -SG @GlobalPluralism #PPF2024

The Forum for Peace UK hosted its 3rd roundtable on the Marrakesh Declaration at the Abu Bakr Mosque. Representatives included members of Southampton City Council, Southampton Council of Faiths, local Catholic Dioceses, Hampshire Constabulary, and the Bishop of Southampton.

Our fourth community roundtable takes us to the University of Birmingham. In partnership with the Edward Cadbury Centre for the Public Understanding of Religion, this session will convene leading academic voices to assess the role of the Marrakesh Declaration in academic circles.

Our next roundtable takes us to Abu Bakr Mosque, Southampton to discuss with young faith and civic leaders who have not engaged with the Marrakesh Declaration, in order to explore its use as a convening tool to discuss equal rights and positive engagement across communities.

Our second community roundtable took the Forum for Peace team to Preston. We convened senior local leaders who have led interfaith engagement for decades. In this inspiring session, we discussed successful models of local faith engagement that can be replicated more widely.

Our first roundtable took us to Leeds. The Forum for Peace UK team discussed local issues with young Muslims, including dynamics at school and in workplaces. Inspired by the Declaration, we considered what more we can do to help foster positivity in increasingly divisive times.

Since our Westminster launch for the Marrakesh Declaration Handbook in 2023, The Forum for Peace UK has conducted community roundtables across the UK to connect civic and faith leaders. The roundtables address the role of the Declaration in facilitating interfaith dialogue.
