@MarcoMasotti_ Great way to distract your supporters from your league position with all the talent at your disposal. What Sharks need is leadership and that starts from the very top...

I walked into the Bridgend stadium last Saturday and felt the spirit of rugby with so many Welsh legends plastered on the walls — only to leave with the spirit of Maradona’s “Hand of God” following the uncontested scrums. The integrity of our URC league demands better. Is anyone involved willing to submit to a lie detector test? I am sure our fans will offer a reward to anyone who comes forward with information.

This satellite image is of Russian naval base Olenya in the High North, along with their spy ship Yantar and specialist GUGI submarines before they departed port for UK waters. These vessels are designed to survey underwater critical infrastructure during peacetime, then sabotage in conflict. In response to nefarious activity by Russian GUGI submarines and an Akula Class submarine, the Defence Secretary @JohnHealey_MP deployed our Armed Forces to track and deter any malign activity by these vessels. We worked in partnership with Norway and other allies responding to increased Russian activity in the Atlantic, north of the UK. A @RoyalNavy warship and @RoyalAirForce P-8 aircraft ensured the Russian submarines were monitored 24/7. The Akula Submarine subsequently retreated home having been closely tracked throughout and we continued to monitor the two GUGI submarines, in and around wider UK waters. Our Armed Forces left them with no doubt that they were being monitored, that their movements were not covert as Putin planned and that their attempted secret operations had been exposed.

Congratulations to the crew of Artemis II on travelling 248,655 miles from Earth - fair play, that’s almost as far away from the real world as The WRU. 😉😉😉

@pikedyer It may have carried some weight if after 2 years of development there was some sports science to share e.g. how much game time, conditioning, player pool size Wales and the Regions need to be elite/competative. Oh and the fact the shift from 4 to 3 didnt coincide with a £10m debt

All this Reddin hate is misplaced until someone puts a complete alternative on the table & says that’s the better way. Guy was brought in to do a job & however you argue it, I’m still of the view that some would prefer to have a system of mediocrity than an elite one.

All four Welsh regions were involved in huge battles this week with Ospreys beating Ulster, Cardiff beating Leinster and Dragons surging back to draw with Benetton. scarlets won a BP. i’m sure WRU hierarchy revelled in every game. if any were present. Not one word of appreciation i can find

@thepaulwilliams Tv pundits in Wales the worst. Forget its whats paying the bills and the bigger the audience the larger the pot for all stakeholders.

Hopefully, I'll never fall into the trap of writing negatively about rugby. Seems like 70% of rugby writing/ content is negative. Such a weird way to approach things.

@john_caddick @RhiRhiOnRugby @WelshRugbyUnion The exec just appointed a full time £160k rugby assistant to the board, yet our national coach had to use part time staff borrowed from regions. Plus reduced access to players as encouraged to play outside wales. Destroying the blueprint that gave us grand slams

I genuinely don't care about this Six Nations, I care about an EGM & getting rid of those who've been allowed to kill Welsh Rugby for far too long. Look at what they've done - how do they have no shame? @WelshRugbyUnion

@NettThom Maybe sharing revenue around the clubs and not favouring the capitol is a model we could adopt .

@Nigelrefowens Ah ok, cheers! So if he had juggled and then called mark - not allowed, but if he called mark and then juggled it - allowed?

Hey @Nigelrefowens - oddity question for you based on last night's game. My understanding of calling a mark was that you had to catch it "clean" (i.e., not juggle it) to be awarded the mark. Has this changed? Or was my understanding wrong? Thanks in advance!

@CardiffRugbyWeb But without knowing if the plan has been tried, what the blockers are then 3 feels like an easy option. So in a couple of years easy option is 2 and so on.

@LongCblong I’d suggest that’s why it’s not a viable plan for Welsh rugby to remain at 4.

This is absolutely spot on. Staying at four and hoping for a change in fortune or vaguely urging the WRU to invest is not a good enough alternative, there needs to be a proper plan to rally around.

@CardiffRugbyWeb I am not advocating teaming up on playing side, but if you jointly market the commercial opportunities for TV rights, branding etc then its more attractive. However you need a strong team in place who can sell a vision not manage to a number

@LongCblong They’ve already stated that teaming up with the Prem is not possible short-term, and spending more in the short-term would only lead to a further reduction of teams.

🚨Wales to sing national anthem 'a cappella'🗣️ The WRU have confirmed that the national anthem will be sung without any backing music at their three home fixtures at the men's Six Nations this year. The decision to do remove the music for the anthem against New Zealand was widely praised. Thoughts on the change?
