Deck has been found I walked over to where I was playing yesterday and picked it up off the floor

The deck box is a black ultra pro xeno skin flip n tray. The sleeves are green. The upper tray has small red D6s, two spin downs, and a large green D8 with tarmogoyf stats on it

@SonRebell This system increases the rewards to enfranchised players who are willing to dedicate their time to grinding paper but could be more punishing to those who have less time to play vs a 1 day qualifying event. I'm most curious about how LCQs would function here if possible.

I thought of a system for qualifying for regional events, and wanted to see why it would be bad. You have a point system where match wins and event placement rewards X points, and you're ranked in an online leaderboard. By cutoff time of the season, the top X players are qual'ed

@BeeJayMTG @maxtortion Great insights Ben! It’s a benefit to get away from results based thinking for this reason. If you only allow yourself to be happy with a good result you’re going to be unhappy when you don’t need to. Play well and be happy.

Was a little upset with my Legacy Champs finish this EW (i really wanted to day 2) bbut this quote from @maxtortion has really made me try to look at my result more positively. I came 233/944, which was better than 711 players. That is something i can look at and be proud of.

Just played the worst event I’ve ever played in my life - 12 person 1 Slotter RCQ with 5 Rounds cut to top 8. After round 4 they deleted the companion app event and paired off of vibes, which put me OTD (4th seed) vs a player I should’ve never faced in top 4. Felt like a sham.
