@maxtortion if you pick the right decks I think it can be a very good option. play something like goblins, burn, the rock, gw madness, etc.

I know a format where
> a 3/3 bear token is a top tier threat
> fading is the most complicated mechanic
> fetches only get basics

> most decks so bad they lose to themselves half the time

i think the decks in standard are too strong. the cards are too complicated. we need worse decks with simpler cards

I'm concerned that reducing published challenge decklists from Top32 to Top 8 will fail to showcase off-meta decks with potential and will instead lead to a feedback loop of top meta decks putting up top finishes, people copying those decks, their playrate further increasing, etc
