@KTmBoyle One of the top reasons I have not created a mandatory work from office strategy is working moms

Had no idea it’s National Working Moms Day, or that working moms even get a day. Regular reminder that the greatest needle mover for working mothers is working from home. Incentivize employers to offer work from home as a benefit and most mothers of young children will take it.

It must be horrifying living as an APOE4 homozygote. If you live to a half-way decent dying age, you are practically guaranteed to have Alzheimer's, and you'll likely die a decade or more earlier than your APOE3 homozygote peers. We should really edit away this genotype.

@Heatherramma @TwinkTheory I agree. I personally think it is Andrew Jacono but I do not know. Jacono is the master for all ages but his technique is phenomenal for younger patients.

@LongmireMD @TwinkTheory I’d like the name of her plastic surgeon. Not that I could afford it, but that person is the MVP.

I must say her whole Arabian comeback arc is one of the funniest pop culture things to ever happen. Move to Dubai, wife up an heir to an oil fortune, get a plastic surgeon that’s basically the Michealangelo of faces, and becomes a hallmark movie tier Christmas queen. Hilarious. If you wrote it in a novel no one would believe it. She’s lived so many lives.

In a world enamored with AI, there is indescribable joy in reading the actual words written by great thinkers. This page from Stan Ulam’s biography captures the awe and beauty of this transcendent experience.

It is increasingly hard for politicians to say this and to enact policies that reflect this sincerely held belief. We would be wise to make this a more common question in politics: is ours the greatest civilization in human history and how are you defending it?

“To renew the greatest civilization in human history.” 25 years ago we stopped saying this, then stopped believing it. This is the new litmus test. Can and will you say this and mean it?

To invest the billions it costs to make new medicines, companies need to be able to trust the word and actions of the FDA. To capaciously change the rules at the end of the game ultimately hurts patients.

🇳🇴 🏔️ Engineering That Pushes the Limits of Human Physiology Johannes Høsflot Klæbo’s success is not merely a product of genetic inheritance; it should be read as a disruptive innovation process that shattered the centuries-old static rhythm of cross-country skiing. Unlike traditional skiers, his ability to integrate running mechanicsinto skis—even while operating under oxygen debt—turns him from a crowd-pleasing athlete into a phenomenon that actively reshapes the sport itself. This dominance, now shaking the legacy of Bjørn Dæhlie’s eight Olympic gold medals, is no accident. Klæbo is a cold-blooded strategist capable of managing his heart rate while reaching speeds of up to 12 meters per second. At this level, athletic superiority doesn’t just overwhelm rivals’ physical capacity—it renders the entire tactical playbook of the discipline obsolete.

From @TheAthletic: Johannes Klaebo of Norway won gold again on Tuesday, on his quest to become the most decorated men's cross-country skiing Olympian. He is an athlete who transcends the conventional wisdom of his sport, like Alex Honnold or Shohei Ohtani. nyti.ms/4qtnJIg
