@awealthofcs And the same CPI report says health insurance premiums are down -15% yy and renters and property insurance is up by merely 4.6% yy. CPI has grossly underestimated premiums for health & property insurance.

If you support minimum wage laws you either don’t understand economic, are pandering and don’t care about the consequences or you are evil and welcome the negative consequences to increase dependence…which one are you?

On April 1st, California raised the minimum wages for fast food workers to $20/hour. That same day, Fosters Freeze went out of business and laid off all 20 employees. The owner says that he was crushed but is unable to sustain the wage hike as a small business owner. Mass layoffs and price hikes have already begun…. and we aren't even a week in.

My neighborhood hadn’t had a house for sale in about 10 months. Late last week two hit the market and both were sold by the weekend at a price 30% higher than what anyone in the neighborhood thought the value was… anecdotal of course but it was alarming to me..
