@JeremyMonjo I'm so annoyed by the canonization of The Truman Show as this 'deep' 'serious' drama. Because it is, at its core, one of the all-time great comedies about how dumb showbiz people are. Especially actors.

My favorite thing about this movie, apart from Ed Harris who is usually my favorite thing about anything he's in (including GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS), is Glass's score.

@richardmantool Oh I’m definitely looking forward to it. Especially his take on a later medieval setting. I took a seminar on witchcraft trials in colonial New England in college taught by my primary mentor, and The Witch gets that shit down perfectly, down to using actual quotations from trials

@westwingraven @bornposting Certainly not in the books. Casting Moore and Brosnan in their 40s made sense when they were making a movie every two years. With today’s five to six year turnaround, they aren’t going to cast someone that old.
