@Tealeaf_Ownsya @NintyPrime I'd rather take my laptop if I was carrying all that tbh. When I take the Switch with me on trips, I most likely play in handheld. I don't mind too much relearning controller, as when I first started playing FFXIV, I was on console w/controller before going PC w/KBM.

@LookItIsBrope @NintyPrime I think you can plug a KBM into the switch 2 too, if you dont mind carrying those around. Not sure how many games actually support that feature yet though.

Really glad this is on its way. Also: They are letting everyone play free for the first month! This is an MMO, so it uses a monthly subscription model. As such, NSO does not grant you access to play it online - you have to sub to the game, instead. Not that first month, however.

@Tealeaf_Ownsya @NintyPrime Beats lugging around a laptop & everything you need for that laptop to function when you make long trips I'd say Definitely interested in this version myself, though I have to train myself how to play with a controller again after years of playing exclusively with KBM

@NintyPrime An MMO on the go sounds great and I think can enable many more players, but you'll still need good internet on the go too. Not quite as liberating as offline games on Switch. Free 1st month is smart, having lots more players will enhance the experience. Dunno, maybe I'll return.

@DiaLancea @Girl_Dm_ But then they'd have to rebuy the game & all of its expansions switching from PS4 to Xbox. Going from PS4 to PS5, you just do the free upgrade. So it's not too practical to go that route.

@concernedchan @Greyfox2401 @Mrhappy1227 That's wrong. I mainly play the PC version, but my sub works for both the PC version & my PS5 version on the rare chances I choose to play it. It has always worked this way. The only thing separate between the two is actually buying the game & the expansions, not the sub itself.

The Switch 2 version requires its own separate monthly subscription from the other versions. However, Switch 2's version doesn't require Nintendo online and if you are also already playing on other platforms it's 50 percent less

@dlow296 @Gameliking @Stealth40k The game itself is a separate purchase (like complete edition PS5 vs PC version & expansions licenses), but that same sub you use on PC or vice versa will work on other platforms without paying additionally to add another system for that sub. That's what's different with the S2.

Final Fantasy XIV will require a separate subscription from the other versions, but Nintendo Online will not be required.

@allansmooth @FF_XIV_EN I don't think it would even fit on a 64GB regular cartridge tbh. So it would have to be a game keycard if it gets a physical release, as Nintendo doesn't release cartridges bigger than 64GB.

@FF_XIV_EN Might sound crazy but is there a physical for this (GKC.. most likely), or just purely digital? Would like to add the physical piece to my remaining FF switch 1/2 collection!!

@KazHeatCulture @snorp3D The GBA version is more zoomed in, but also shows wider on the 3DS's screen because of the 3:2 aspect ratio.

@KazHeatCulture @snorp3D On 3DS, there was SNES games on the eShop (I had the Donkey Kong Country games). If you didn't get it from the eShop, there is also virtual console injects or using SNES emulators. With the aspect ratio on the 3DS picture & the FOV matching the CRT, it looks like both are SNES.

@TerryTheBuneary I'm ngl, but I think Dragon Quest 11 solos everything here. So I'd take red any day. Having Mario TTYD is like an added bonus. The rest in the red pill I think I could live without. Honestly, blue pill has more stuff I like, but to me, Dragon Quest 11 is a juggernaut choice lol.

You can leave it sitting there for years collecting dust, then go back to it, turn it on & it would still have a respectable amount of battery left (it's what happened to me). Now I use it often, but when I didn't, that was my experience

@KARNAGEclan I really, REALLY disliked supply drop exclusive weapons, but this was one of the very few that I actually unlocked. I'm glad I did. I also liked it in zombies. Tho I wish if you unlocked it in multiplayer, you also unlocked the zombie build like the base guns.

@RealGameVault Had both, but the DS won it by a mile for me in the game's department. I can't deny, however, that the PSP's XMB was truly a marvel of design. I still think the PS3/PSP XMB is the best menu of all time. I never had a PS3, but my PSP was like my mini version of experiencing that.

@PKMN_twt Was 1 of the reasons I just finished replaying Pokémon White yesterday. I thought it was kinda cool that this year will be the only year where Pokémon White/Black will be half of the actual age of Pokémon, serving as "soft reboots", so I thought it deserved celebration on its 15.

@Be_AmazedCBM I liked the atmosphere of the Batman Arkham games more, but the Spider-Man games are the ones that got more of my attention/game time. So they kinda both win at something for me. Overall, I have to hand it to Spider-Man. Like I said, I just played more of it (a lot more of it).

@DETONATEDcom COD WW2. Sure, the game was fixed 6 months into the game's lifecycle, even fewer played the game after it was fixed or even they didn't have a clue it was fixed (& some people moved to Fortnite), but I was one of the few that genuinely loved COD WW2 its entire lifecycle.
