Looking forward to game 1 tonight for the boys. If I’m Ramsay, I go out with the same 11 as last weeks 4-1 win over St. Louis. There is obviously a lot to play for tonight and given the early shower Boxy got the last time we met RSL, I’m sure there is A LOT to play for #MNUFC

@LoonsC2C There’s been a lot of missteps, the consolation is that we have more promise now than we have for quite some time. On the pitch, we have a coach who actually does proactive subs and tactical changes. Hopefully off the pitch we see similar progressive moves. Come on the loons!

My wording was bad when I posted this, but I was worried last year about the lack of ambition from the old FO. Since this signing: Pukki: 12G 2A (2 this season) Arango: 21G 4A (15 this season) Salary: Pukki: 3.6mil/yr (8.875 all in) Arango: 2.1mil/yr (12.3 all in)

@AlexB606 Yeah it's clear Ramsay prefers Tani, just sucks that he's so expensive. If he was gone and we had two DP spots to fill this summer, and then also Rey? Sheesh

@LoonsC2C Oof. The chance he missed 1st half today is a good example - if he ain’t scoring that, what is he contributing? We aren’t Man City who can afford the striker being quiet until he scores (which he isn’t). Wasn’t his worst game but q to be asked. But Ramsay seems aware of it.

@AlexB606 I did a deep dive with me and Eddie over where Pukki's goals and assists come from. I think we figured that between last year and this year, 80% of his goals and assists came against teams outside of the playoffs. Kinda wild

@LoonsC2C Would not disagree, especially with Rey being awol again (ok he’s here but is there a path for him this time?) but to his credit Pukki contributed with goal one today. Do need some more creativity. Hopefully Ramsay has some contacts with Chelsea academy still.

Look at Tani's run. It's everything on this play. Fantastic ball back across too. If Tani doesn't make that run this play is cut out. So so so good.

This is why Tani needs to start every game. That hard near post run opens all of the space for SBJ and pulls two defenders.
