since there is a conversation happening around platforms I want to participate. hi, my name is robek and I have been an nft artist and collector since may of 2017, before there were standards. I and many others believe in the long term promise of artists making a borderless living with their art, digital traditional or otherwise, without limiting their creativity my friends and I have been trying to build communities and tools while connecting with others who still believe in the promise. @0xngmi kindly allowed me to work with him building @sealed_art to this mission. if you don't know me or sealed, please I implore you read our manifesto and see if it resonates with you. docs.sealed.art/about/the-seal… this platform conversation is much needed. we can't dismiss the impact that the founding web3 marketplaces had on the space and the opportunities they created for their users - but we must push past the mindset culture is proprietary sealed will never be the scale of these other established places, but we built it with the hopes other platforms would be inspired by some of our features and ethos. we did see an impact to fees and discoverability after we launched which is encouraging but there are many other small, passionate builders and creatives out there doing amazing things - explore them all, find your tribe. participate as you can, survive, and don't be too hard on yourself I want the entire space to thrive, I am sometimes catty but we all most try to change forward and carve out a niche for ourselves before we lose that opportunity forever okay that's all my disjointed thoughts for now
