THIS COULD HAVE BEEN CRAZY… Legendary #Patriots HC and GM Bill Belichick says the biggest regret of his career was not drafting Lamar Jackson in the 2018 #NFL draft. New England owned picks 23 and 31 but chose bust Isaiah Wynn and RB Sony Michel before the #Ravens drafted Jackson at pick #32. NE won the Super Bowl the following season… but struggled mightily after that. Belichick planned to have Jackson sit behind Tom Brady and develop for a year, as Brady and Lamar have a close relationship. Lamar, the 2x league MVP, would have become the franchise quarterback, and New England could’ve had multiple more Super Bowl victories. Just imagine facing Bill Belichick‘s defense and Lamar Jackson on offense with Josh McDaniels. BB and Lamar would still be together in NE, potentially with multiple rings… 😱😱😱
