We are coming to San Francisco with crazy footage & projects in our hair! Myself (director/starring), lead actress/co-writer Duru Yücel & supporting actress Danha Yunes will be there for We Put the World to Sleep's West Coast Premiere at @unnamedfootage festival on Friday, March 27th, 3:55PM at the @balboatheatresf! Poster artist Ilan Sheady even added a cool detail as throwback to Be My Cat! (if you've seen WPTWTS, don't reveal what my character is holding, as that would spoil it, hehe) I will also be revealing during the festival (probably at the end of our screening at the Q&A) the news big as Mount Everest I was hinting in a previous post, so don't miss the event! Great news: We Put the World to Sleep selected at @UnnamedFootage Festival in San Francisco, North America's no.1 festival for POV, mockumentary, screenlife and found footage films, twice listed by @DreadCentral among the world's greatest genre festivals! They haven't published the lineup yet, but allowed us to announce earlier the selection to help us raise the budget needed to attend the festival. Thanks so much to everyone who contributed in the crowdfunding campaign so far, you'll have your names credited onscreen at the Wisconsin Premiere of WPTWTS at @MidWestWeird-Fest & @ANightOfHorror, West Coast Premiere at Unnamed Footage Fest and beyond, and the campaign goes on to help us raise the budget to attend Unnamed Footage and other upcoming festivals which we're going to reveal soon! Join us today and help make it happen: linktr.ee/WePutTheWorldT… Unfortunately we couldn't raise on time the $2.5K needed to attend MidWest WeirdFest & ANOH, therefore Be My Cat won't play (the 10th anniversary was conditioned to us attending), but the great part is that WPTWTS will premiere in both festivals as initially announced, with us attending in spirit. Contribution deadline to have your name in the credits at MidWest WeirdFest & ANOH: Today, February 16 (tomorrow I'm sending the screening copy to the festival). Contribution deadline to help us raise the budget to attend Unnamed Footage Festival in San Francisco: Middle of March (that's the latest we can inform them whether we're coming or not). Usually attending a festival in North America (flights + accommodation + daily expenses) costs us about $2.5K to $3K, that's why we put the campaign goal at 7.5K EUR. Currently we've raised almost 1K with your help. When we reach 2.5K, we'll be able to attend one festival. When we reach 5K, we'll be able to attend 2 festivals. And when we reach 7.5K, we'll be able to attend 3 festivals.

Another Hole in the Head International Film Festival runs December 1st-31st 2025. Thirty one days of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and assorted other genres.
